7-5-3 Festival Mini Session 11/15/13

Nov. 15, 2013 is the day to celebrate 7-5-3 Festival! (7-5-3 Festival is a 🎌Japanese rite of passage festival for 3 & 7 year old girls as well as 3 & 5 year old boys.) Hanabata Days Photography would like to help you celebrate your 7-5-3 year old children on 11/15 by having a mini session! You will get a 15-20 min session with a one pose package which includes: (4) wallets, (1) 5×7 & (1) 8×10 Print for just $60! We have two yukatas & an Alice in Wonderland fan in studio if you want to use it for your session.

Pet Mini Christmas Session! 11/17/13

11/17/13 11am-3pm PET MINI CHRISTMAS SESSION: $99! Looking for a gift idea for a special someone who is a pet lover? Your 15-20 minute mini session will include: 1) on location session 2) two staff on site (myself & my lovely assistant @iamsheren) 3) assortment of homemade pet accessories & xmas props for the scene 4) one pose package which includes: custom name wire photo ornament made by @kokorodesign, two wallet prints, one 5×7 print, one 8×10 print & your choice between: 15oz mug or mousepad! We have other photo gift options to choose from as well. A two-minute mini session outside HD studio can get these photos with my babies. Christmas Referral Contest

Thank you all for your patience as we offer you our new Christmas products starting this year.  We now offer in-house printing for your Christmas Cards to give away to your friends and family!  Hanabata Days Studio will be your one stop shop for many of your Christmas items.  We have been busy communicating with all the vendors to be able to offer you the lowest prices possible for these packages so we appreciate your patience with us.

Since this is the first year that we are offering photo card packages & other products with our photo sessions, we want to start it off with a “Referral Contest”!   This will officially start today, Sept. 8th and go till Dec. 8, 2013!  You have 3 months to refer as many families or friends to Hanabata Days for a Christmas Photo Session.  Make sure they state your name when they are making a booking.  The sessions must be for Christmas photos, whether it be for the whole family, just the kids/baby, or a maternity session.  Once they have made their booking and paid their security deposit, that is a point for you.

The person with the most points gets the following grand prizes:

* $50 Hanabata Days GIFT CERTIFICATE to use for your next session or products

* TWO 4×6 PRINTS of your choice with TWO WASHI MAGNET SETS (4 total magnets) to decorate with your prints

Update on Website

Dear my wonderful friends & clients,

Our team at Hanabata Days are frantically working to build a reliable site for you all to use & visit, however, unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we won’t be able to deliver by today, September 1st.  The website is up and all the links are working, but we still have to work on minor tweaks.  I’m quite embarrassed to show you as is, so I ask for your patience as we make it presentable enough.  Just to keep you in the loop, this website will be an on-going project which we will keep adding functions to & improving over the months/years. We are a small, local business so we appreciate your patience as we build it up to where we want it to be.  In the meantime, I will be keeping you all in the loop of things through this blog site. Christmas packages will be up in the next few days.  We have a new camera body & new studio lights & other new gear so our quality has improved big time.  So excited for this year’s Christmas and can’t wait to show you all our new stuff!  We will be having a Christmas contest with a grand prize!  Will be announced with the Christmas packages.  Stay tuned!

New logo

Hello to all our loyal followers,

This is our first official blog post.  Can’t wait to start blogging so we can keep you in the loop of all our new products and updates regarding Hanabata Days Photography!  We are a family business, as husband and wife we work with our team to bring you photography, videography, graphic design, garden design & all sorts of art related products. Our services are geared towards families with small children up till age 10 & babies, hence the name, “Hanabata Days” (which is a phrase used in Hawaii in reference to your “childhood days”).

First and foremost, I will introduce you to our new logo which we designed together during our stay in Japan.  We went there to see how we can expand business & to learn about Japanese garden design. I know everyone has been excited to see it & I wanted to wait until my website was ready but I’m excited to show you so here it is!

My husband also designed our new business cards with this logo, which will be in our hands shortly.  We also have an amazing web designer/programmer, Rachel, who is currently working on our website.  The website is a work in progress and we will continue to add to it throughout the year.  The web address will be released on September 1, 2013, however, it will not be fully completed.  For the time being, it is mainly for showcasing our new Christmas specials! Thank you all for your patience as everything slowly falls into place! Couldn’t have done any of this without all of you.  Thank you for your support!
